Mr Mkhize representing GIBB Engineering stated that its not for first time they contributing to Amajuba District through their Corporate Social Investment (CSI). They have in the past year contributed in one of the local NGOs but had to motivate to their Board to come back to the district. “As committed as we are in our CSI campaign, this year we have made an additional donation of R57 227.00 to St Anthony’s Child and Youth Centre’, said Mr Mkhize.
The donated items were received by Mr Mlotshwa who is the Chairperson of the Committee that looks after the affairs of the centre.
The centre accommodates children from birth to 18 years. GIBB donated to the school through their Corporate Social Investment Programme and for this particular donation they offered more than R50 000.
The Mayor was accompanied by Miss Nomfundo Kubheka who is a contestant in the Miss Eagle SA competition. Through her participation in this competition she has dedicated her time in doing what she loves, caring for those in need.
