The Deputy Minister of the Department of Social Development, Dr Hendrietta Ipeleng Bogopane-Zulu, in her capacity as the District Development Model (DDM) Champion of Amajuba District, together with the Amajuba District Municipality Municipal Manager, Mr. P.M Manqele, representing the Amajuba District Municipality's Mayor Cllr. uMntwana Ndabuko Zulu, held a brief meeting with the political leadership in the district.

The purpose of the meeting was for the Deputy Minister Bogopane-Zulu to engage leadership on the planned intervention programmes for the upcoming week to get their input on the activities and engagements that will take place within the district.

The Deputy Minister will be in the district until March 11, 2024, host a series of engagement activities targeting various stakeholders.
