The Honourable Mayor Cllr. Umntwana Ndabuko Zulu , Speaker of Council Cllr Umntwana S.O Zulu ,Mayor of Newcastle Municipality, Cllr D.X Dube closed-off a three(3)day district school oversight visit with the delegation which included the KZN Legislature , Members of Parliament ,Porfolio Committee on Education, National Department of Basic Education, Members of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Legislature Portfolio Committee on Education , councillors and officials from Amajuba District Municipality.

The oversight committee embarked upon the program intended to examine the state of school readiness for the beginning of the 2023 academic year with the objective of affording the committee members an opportunity to directly engage stakeholders on finding progressive measures towards the improvement of the teaching and learning processes in schools that fall under Amajuba district.
