Database registration and information update

AMAJUBA DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY

DATABASE REGISTRATION AND INFORMATION UPDATE

Amajuba District Municipality hereby invites service providers and suppliers to register or update their business information in the ADM’s supplier database.

Suppliers and service providers already registered are requested to update their records by submitting the following documents:

1. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
2. Business registration documents with shareholders names and ownership percentage
3. Most recent municipal accounts for your business location or certified copy of proof of residential i.e. water and lights statements or an affidavit

NB: Service providers who have previously been awarded tenders are also requested to update their information by submitting the above documents.

Registration forms are obtainable at the SCM Unit or can be downloaded from Amajuba District Municipality website www.amajuba.gov.za.

Construction and operation of District Wide Data Communication Network

Amajuba District Municipality invites prospective ICASA licensed service providers to express their interest towards the construction and operation of a network covering the entire district which includes the municipal areas of Newcastle, Dannhauser and Emadlangeni (formerly Utrecht).

Expression of interest must include strategies that address the following:

1. Service level agreements that guarantee a certain level of availability
2. Peering with other internet service providers
3. Procuring bandwidth from undersea internet cables
4. Peering with similar initiatives in neighboring regions
5. Continually increasing the level of bandwidth and coverage available on the network
6. Implementation of IPv6
7. Packaging and marketing of services to community and industry at a reasonable price
Sealed and appropriately numbered proposals must be deposited in the tender box situated at the reception of Amajuba District Municipality Offices during normal working hours, B9356, Amajuba Building, Section 1, Madadeni, 2951.

Selected bidders will be required to present their detailed proposals on the following date;

Venue: Amajuba District Municipality; after which responsive bidders will be notified for submission the final bids based on their experience and quality of their expression of interest.
