Quotations are invited from service providers for the development of maintenance plan for refurbishment of boreholes for Amajuba District Municipality.
Interested service providers should collect the quotation documents at Amajuba District Municipality Offices during normal working hours, B9356, Amajuba Building, Section1, Madadeni, 2951 or download them from www.amajuba.gov.za website.
Completed bid documents in sealed envelopes endorsed “Quotation No. Q2010/09: ADM BOREHOLE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT” must be deposited in the Municipality’s tender box located at the reception of the Amajuba District Municipality on or before the closing date, whereby bids will be opened to the public. Quotations received after the due date and time will not be considered.

2. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
This bid will be evaluated in terms of 80/20 preference point system as prescribed in Amajuba District Municipality Procurement Policy and for this purpose the enclosed MBD forms must be scrutinized, completed and submitted together with each bid.
NB: Bids documents are available from Amajuba district Municipality Offices and on Amajuba District Municipality’s website www.amajuba.gov.za.
Attached forms must accompany all bid documents submitted and failure to submit completed forms will disqualify the bid document.
Please note that:
Service providers that have applied to be included in the Amajuba DM’s database should also respond to this request for proposals.
Correspondences without the appropriate bid number, late, faxed, incomplete and incorrectly done bid will be disqualified.

RENOVATIONS AND ADDITION: AMAJUBA DISASTER MANAGEMENT BUILDING
Prospective bidders are hereby invited for the Renovations and Additions of Amajuba Disaster Management Building for Amajuba District Municipality. Prospective bidders must be registered with CIDB 2GB or higher class of construction works.
Bid documents will be made available as from the 13th May 2010 at the SCM Unit of the Amajuba District Municipality upon payment of a non-refundable fee of R 150.00 per document. Cheque or deposits must be made payable to the Amajuba District Municipality bank account: ABSA Bank Account no. 4053472593 with 55555 as reference. Bidders will be required to produce proof of deposit before the issue of bid document. Bid documents must be collected before the date of compulsory briefing session as no documents will be issued during the day of the briefing session.
A compulsory clarification meeting with the representatives of the employer will be held as follows:
